Health is one of our most appreciate possessions; besides your regular medical checkup to prevent any illness, it is important to prepare yourself to make a trip to South America.

Safety precautions

Below, a list with advises to make your stay quit and safety, during your visit in Peru and Bolivia.

  • Have a photocopy of your passport, credit card (both faces) and travel checks. Carry them in a different bug or wallet.
  • Keep your passport; fly ticket, credit cards, etc in a safety place.
  • Don’t leave valuable objects in your room hotel. Live them in reception to be put into a safe deposit box.
  • Use cash dispenser in the morning or in the afternoon. Try do not go alone otherwise look for a cash dispenser that has a policeman closet to it.
  • Ask hotel staff if it ´s safety walk around the area or which are dangerous streets and places.
  • If you travel carrying valuable equipment, get the respective insurance Write down serial numbers that are put on items such as cameras, video cameras, laptops, etc. And don’t take your receipts with you. Receipts are necessaries to demonstrate that you didn’t buy your equipment in the country you are visiting.

These objects are historical inheritance of Peru and Bolivia. Negligence actions like these suppose that in controlling immigration office at the airport, you could be arrested for breaking the law. Preferably buy reproductions, these are excellent souvenirs.

Travel Clothing To Peru

Cost: Lima, Ica and Nazca, take lightly clothes, like sportive clothing, sneaker, bathing suit, etc. Between November and April the season in the cost is humid and cold.

Mountains: Cusco, Arequipa, Huaraz and Puno, during the morning wear lightly clothes, but at night wear a jacket; between November and April is suitable to take heavy clothes and raincoat, and if you visit these cities in a different season protect yourself at night.
